i am looking for research oriented topic for writing a research paper related to reservoir simulation with comparison based on tests on simulation models .
So did you find one?
NO i am looking for anyone on this forum to help me.
I guess I am scratching my head a bit at this one.... You want to go a research paper in the field of reservoir simulation, in which you base your tests on simulation models.....
In other words, you will be assuming that simulation models can already well describe the scenarios you intend to simulate (otherwise their comparison with simulation tests will be flawed), which limits you to perhaps areas of increased efficiency rather than lack of understanding
Some areas where efficiency could be increased may be;
Methods to auto-tune simulation runs dynamically
More efficient methods of upscaling
Just a thought, but understand that many (I'm guessing) far more experienced minds than you would have looked at these already, so be realistic in your goals.
I am scratching my head also as to what this is all about.
Problem statement is so vague that a misty day would seem clear.![]()

thanx for ur suggestion
Dear guydanish,
What exactly is your question, I don't even get it. You want to compare what to what, What is your reservoir, what do you want to compare. Please elaborate and next time please put a proper heading as the title for your question.
Guy Danish,
Your request is too broad for any of us to really help. You need to narrow down your scope of help you need....
Chee Koh Peh....
Guy Danish , how do you like the deconstruction of your nik
Ok, tell us a little about yourself. Graduate student or undergrad? What univ. , years left to graduation ... etc.
This way we know what level you are on and with whom we are talking. For all I know you could be a first year undergrad and in that case running simulations would seem a bit complicated to explain.![]()
