Does Etap work on windows 7? and how is activation done for stand alone?

Dear Friend,
I install etap on Win-7 several time with success. I think you may be miss something on the installation step.
If you follow all the step, I guess you must check this :
1. You must be sure to install etap with log in as administrator
2. you must be sure no antivirus nor firewall is active on your computer. I have bad experience of can not disable kaspersky anti virus. at this case, kaspersky prevent people to create virtual port, so just make sure no antivirus is active. so ..... try to install on save mode
3. you must sure have set up UAC access of etap installer
4. Make sure you have set the compatibility to win XP SP3.
I think if you follow all step, you must success to install it my friend.

I have one more experience while installing to my friend notebook,
the etap does not work properly after finish installation
It is like this : It can not open the device properties after double click on the equipment symbol,
That condition happened several times, but I dont know why ,

but I solve that problem with this :
- If you have another etap installed on other computer, or if you dont, install it on other computer until it works fine, then
- copy full of directory "ETAP 7.0.0" from drive C of the healthy Etap software computer to the one that has problem
- and it should works fine.
