Hello
Do you know any reference that if we want to know when recommended to use special material ? ( i.e. A106 for high temp. & A53 for usual temp. or 1.4571 for line contain acid ) I read steel key & ASTM FERROUS MATERIAL but can not find useful thing .

There is a dedicated chapter about material selection ..very clear

You have first to start when selecting a material by determinaing the MINImum metal design temperature ,
Read also ASTM A20 to know some limitations.....etc
