I'm having a problem with my cooling tower simulation which I would appreciate if someone could give their insight.
I simulated the cooling tower in Aspen and Hysys with the following inputs:

Gas inlet: 10 000 kg/hr, 20 C, Water: 0,8 Nitrogen: 78,2 Oxygen: 21 (mass frac)
Process Water inlet: 11 500 kg/hr, 30 C, Water: 100 (mass frac)
Column (radFrac): 12 stages, top pressure = bottom pres = 1 atm

Target outlet water temperature: 27 C

Results:
Top temperature gas outlet: 30,5 C
Bottom water: 27 C
How is it possible that the air outlet temperature (30,5 C) is higher than any of the inlet streams temperatures (30 C and 20 C)
