Wells and seismic lines do not plot at the correct place; Seisvision GGx

I have a project with GGx which has a large number of well data. Now I am trying to integrate it with seismic data. We have some 2d seismic lines in the area and I know where they are positioned relative to the wells (from our corporate datastore maps). When i load the seismic lines they load ok. Then i associate them with the navigation data that also is completed successfully. However the seismics and the wells post far apart in the map window which i know is not correct.
I think the problem has to do with the likelihood that coordinate systems / datum / ellipsoid defined by my project is different from those in which the seismic data was exported. This is eating up a lot of my time that i should be spending on interpretation, or with fun and games.
It would be great if someone can help.

Convert ur well coordinates to XY and check whether they match. Better still pick a well which falls on a seismic line and find ot whether XY values match. It should work. Also,do not post ur name like this on the board UNCLE

i have the same problem with Kingdo.m suite.I already check X,Y of top and bottom well, they corrected. anybody can held me?
