Greetings,
I have a question: Does the efficiency of Hot Oil Furnace [a furnace that is used to increase the temperature of Thermia B oil using fuel gas] decrease by the decreasing the fuel gas flow?
Let's say the overall efficiency is about 85% when oil temperature is increased from 168 to 240 oC (delta T is around 72 oC). What will happen to the efficiency if I keep the oil flow constant and I decrease the fuel gas flow in order to increase the oil temperature by just 15 oC?
Also what is the typical thermal efficiency for a Fuel Gas fired Furnace?
Thanks and regards!
