I have disabled all network adapters except loopback adapter. When I install in Desktop/PC, the installation was success. But when install on my laptop it getting error. 'the license machine requires a file be created on the root directory'. please help me

That i haven't seen so far . Try to run the instalation with administrator rights, if you are on win vista or 7

Friends, please help:

After i run "generate machine ID", error come out: "the license machine requires a file be created on the root directory. The file cannot be created on this machine." File MachineID.txt doesn't created so i can't continue to next step. is there a mistake or something ?I have already configure loopback adapter and uninstall antivirus but still same error.

Please help for the problem and provide the solutions. Thanks.

Hi, maybe you shall run SPLM as Administrator and point MachineID to no root directory (i.e. C:\licence\ instead C:\)
