    thanks..!

if you are going to run simulation, your permeability should be tunned to the measured average effective permeabilty values from well test. Effectively you are simulating the flow conditions which is measured in pressure transient analysis. Log or Core permeabilities can be very different than well test one, so you should make good stories to justify the difference as well. Good luck

thanks for guideline but Which is Accurate or mimics subsurface picture relatively better .......................!

    thanks

  5. if you are a geologist core plug measurements are more accurate, but for me they are not useful because they might not make any sense when you use them in model! tell me how can you measure the fracture permebility in core analysis? so answer differs from person to person and model you are working on.

    hello,
between these two permeability which obtain from core and well test , absolutely the well test permeability is better for dynamic modeling.
but i have read in some articles that by using seismic 3D and well log data of a specific well and cores of that well we can find a relation between seismic data and permeability. so in each point of the reservoir as we have the seismic data of that point we can have the permeability of that area and its very useful for making permeability or porosity maps for simulation.
