Hysys Vs ChemCad Vs Aspen plus Vs ProII

Hello mr...!
i have a little problem.
i can't find a properties of fatty alcohol C12/14 when i try with hysis 3.1.
I want to calculate how much the process variables for column destillation for fatty alcohol C12/14.
1. Should I match with petroleum derivatives that same carbon chain?
2. Or enter the value of the properties of fatty alcohol c12/14 handbook
3. Or use other software like aspenplus
In hysis is more about petroleum.
So anybody can help me? Because my background in oleochemical. thank for your attention sir!

Use AspenPlus. It has a complete database for fatty alcohols, including raw materials like methyl esters, fatty acids, and even wax esters

I will suggest you to use Hysys. As it takes normally less time to understand at least I found it user-friendly. As I worked on all these three simulators. Hysys will be good choice to start any Project. While doing simulations if you find any problem or need any help please let us know. All the best.
Chemcad is also usefull but now dont use.

wich one is better with electrolytes? I´m triying to run a chlorine-soda simulation and I will like to know which one i must use.
