Can you tell if the power supplied to the ESP motor has increased? If so, that will explain a rise in temperature. In such a case, a problem with the motor or pump or both is being developing. If the motor draws more power for the ESP to lift the same fluid at the same rate, then for sure the extra power is dissipated as heat. Do you have only one bottomhole temperature gauge? Is that at the discharge or the suction of the pump?
