So what sort of presentation are you expected to give? Simply a relatively new/novel approach used in the industry that you will be summarizing for your classmates? Something completely new which you will be developing/fleshing out?

Are you talking about in depth workshop presentation, or superficial 15-minute type deal?

Please don't take this as a rebuke - its advice that will serve you well in your professional career as well... people like to help people who obviously are trying hard to help themselves and can demonstrate that they have put some thought into it, similarly they quickly learn to ignore those who put little more than superficial effort into understanding something before they look for help.
