Try installing the components that you need instead of installing the complete package.
2006 and 2006.5 (without ***** file) works well (except the HTDS and the Fired heater module). Lic generator that was available elsewhere on this forum works well too.

I am looking to install Hysys from this package...Can somebody please provide the steps to be taken? Is it possible to install HYSYS without bothering to extract all the files? I have already downloaded all the parts........Thanks very much..

Launch the installer and select the compnents from the list that aspen installer throws.
You should select Aspen Hysys if you want to install HYSYS. After installation you can run the lic generator that will generate the *.lic file . Refer to this license via Flexm license management.

hello frnds,
i need ur help please....i have successfully downloaded the 62 rar files posted on rapidshare link and also generated the license usung the licince generator link. but this is where i got stuck......i am not able to find the setup files by means of which i could install the program. can u please help me with this and give me a brief procedure on how can i proceed so that i can get going and install aspen 2006.5 successfully.
also i for ur information i have windows vista. hope this software works on vista.....

Rapidshare has deleted the Aspen files. Can anyone upload again. I had uploaded up to part 55, when the files got blocked. Also, will the license generator work with Vista, or XP Home Edition, or it only works with XP Proffessional edition?
Can the magnitude folder with the license generator be uploaded as a separate file?
