You first check the location of pumping bowls (impeller). If they are located deep inside a well, you have to deduct this head from the specified head to arrive at the discharge pressure at the top. If the design head is 40m and depth of the well is 20m, the discharge pressure will be 2.0 Kg/cm2g.
