Hello guys:

I've been heard of the ISO 55000 series standards to be released soon.
All I know is that it is an asset management standard. Isn't Asset Management already highly standardized? Do we need a global standard to tell us formally what is asset and how to manage it?
Any information would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
