I am new to this software,
we have several PSV discharging hydrocarbons + water (liquid phase),
outlet conditions are below saturation pressure (flashing),
I was suggested to utilize a non-equilibrium model for PSV sizing,
how can I set this option?

which software?
You may need a specific tool.
I utilize Prode Properties which includes a whole range of models
HEM (Homogeneous Equilibrium)
HNE Homogeneous Non-Equilibrium (with Boiling Delay and Gas-Liquid Slip Contributes)
HNE-DS Homogeneous Non-Equilibrium
NHNE Non-Homogeneous Non Equilibrium
see 'http://www.prode.com/docs/pppman.pdf' for details,
you may also ask the manufacturer to do the calc's
thanks Carlo,
could you explain the main differences between HEM and HNE models?
Crob,
the main differences between HEM (Homogeneous Equilibrium Model) and HNE (Homogeneous Non-Equilibrium)
with specific applications of Prode Properties software are discussed in this blog entry
'http://www.egpet.net/vb/entries/82302-Comparison-of-Homogeneous-equilibrium-%28HEM%29-VS-NON-equilibrium-%28HNE%29-models '
Hoping this helps.
