Oil prices: different types of presenting prices

    Hi,

I'm usual need to search some oil prices to apply in several economic studies, in some areas: natural gas prices, cogeneration powerplants, electricity prices, etc.

My problem is that in this variety of areas, there are different prices refered in mathematical formulas, that i have some difficulty to understand where they come from and to understand why i find different values in for the same item.

For example, for Arabian Light, i've already found: "Arabian Ligth Breakeven", "Arabian Light 32", "Arabian Light Spot Price", etc.
In this case i usually use the "Arabian Ligth Breakeven", that i obtain in Platt's oilgram price report, but when some study is referred to "Arabian Light" i don't know wich is....

For Brent prices for example, i also finded different values.

Can anyone explain to me the meaning of all the types of prices that we can find, and some reliable websites where i can find some historic data?

    Thanks!!!
