    I'm assuming you know what relative permeability is correct?

    'normal' rel perm cures are two phase - typically oil & water or gas & water, and are often measured through steady or unsteady state lab methods.

    Three phase curves are for systems with mobile oil, water AND gas - that is, three mobile phases -and typically is not measured but inferred from one of a number of different methods, the simplest being Stones Method(s). You can see some background on Stones method at page 3-4 of
