    Just select the component you have - which chemical they are - say water or Benzene. Which component do you have?
    Try to open the case file "XIST_Liquid_Liquid_Example.htri" in Samples folder. And look under hot fluid Properties you see a way to do it.
    The program will chose itself if the mixed phase is liquid by the pressure and temperature you set.

    If you really want to find which method HTRI use to calculate say viscosity you may take a look in the HTRI design manual say from this thread:

    If you have "you own" components (unknown by HTRI) you may import from other softwares or enter these in the "Liquid Properties page" for one temperature (then constant) or two temperatures (then interpolated between these). You may look up "Liquid Properties page" in help.
