Could anyone explain how to install Aspen Process Manual?
I did for Windows XP SP3 with Aspen 2006, but I cannot follow the same procedure with 7.1 version in Vista.

Asp*n One V7.1 CAN NOT be installed on Vista Home platform, but CAN works well on Vista Bussiness or Pro, also works well in XP Xome SP3 and also XP Pro SP2.

I confirm that it's working also with Windows 7!

I need your help camrades. I'm trying to install Aspenone V7.1 but the installation freezes at this point "Please wait whilw Windows configures Process Modeling(Aspen Plus) V7.1". The advance bar stops at aprox. 80% of the installation of ASpenPlus.

My OS is Windows XP SP3, I followed all the instructions of your guide except installing SQL server and the CMD command (cause it is said to be done in win 7 or Vista).

Can anyone help me please? Thanks in advance

How can I install AspenOne v7.1 ?? What are the procedures? I'm using windows XP, and i've read a lot of posts, but i still not have sucess.

I discovered what the license error was. Sometimes when the license generator (yes, the same that everyone uses I guess) is used just FAILS, dont know why, but what happends is that the generator doesnt make all the licenses, so when you install when you load the DVD/image/whatever and select your license, it will load fine but what your have to check is the following:

When the license have been loaded it has to say a total of "710" licences.

Sometimes when the generator fails (even when it says that all went ok) it just makes around 1xx-2xx licences, so if this is the case just use the license generator again to make a new license.

Note: I dont know if the licence/file made on a computer works too on a different computer or if this ones are computer specific made.

Note 2: I just install as a stand alone.

Note 3: if you install without a license, you can use the SLM license profiler to select your license and see how many lincense that file contains (can take a while) and use the SLM configuration wizard to load the license later.

Nota 4: It works on win7.

REMEMBER: 710 licenses!!!!!
