dear all,
i need to know when completion engineers did the completion proposal and specify the interval of perforation did he take in consideration the expantion of the tubing inside the hole due to tempreture change and gravity or not? and is this expanded length will affect on pay zone interval and mistargeted the pay zone specailly when the depth been higher??
also pls can you give me sheet specifing the expantion coffient of pipes and tubes using in oilfield operation?
TQ

The calculations you talk about have to do with tubing space out in the packer and landing the tubing hanger in the tubing head in the wellhead (so it is always in tension), and yes ALL completion engineers consider temperature/pressure effects etc...when calculating space out and tubing hanger tension etc...
