I was asked by my project supervisor to choose a topic for my final year project* and I have really been confused about possible topics that I can work on. Please can I have suggestions from you experts? I would indeed be very grateful.

Hi* but what is your interest or what are you majoring in? Take a look at onepetro.org* SPE or other journal publication sites and you get an idea of hot topics in petroleum industry at the moment. Take into consideration that you might also write about the same topic in you master thesis. During writing your thesis you develop deep understanding of the specific topic which later you market yourself to get a job with a company that deals with related topic.
