It depends what you want from it* what areas you specifically want to study. Greenwich is better for evacuation modelling* which is their specialist area* although UCLAN touched on it* we never really did anything that I could use practically (it 10 years ago I was there). For fire sciences and practical FSE* smoke control* fire behaviour* the day to day FSE stuff* then UCLAN is very good. They were working with Warrington Fire Research* long before it was sold off to Bodycote and then Exova* but that seems to have stopped. They also had a good relationship with the fire brigade training centre nearby* which meant they covered a lot of the areas that ex firefighters going into the private sector needed to have to become FSE's.
The future of oil and gas is deem. So I will suggest not to take further course
