Simple Heat Integration/HEN Design Software

Hi all*

Does anyone have any recommendations for a software that has the capability to design a HEN network? I have a heat integration job at a food and beverage plant and would like something stripped down so we don't have to pay for the ability to simulate chemical reactions & varying heat capacity flowrates. Thought you guys might have come across something capable of this without being overly expensive for the application.

Professional tools such as Aspen Pinch* HEXTRAN* or ProSim are relatively expensive.

You can try with HINT (free) or even develop your own Excel/VBA for simple cases.
