in my place* etap is gaining lead due to the effort of their marketing staff.. there are also some clients who preferred a certain software because the existing electrical model they have is for that software.

i think etap is leading the market mostly in arab countries (middle east). my company owns several analysis software e.g. etap* skm* paladin (edsa). i remember one our project uses two analysis software (skm & edsa)..
