Hello,

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this question.

I am currently working as a draftsman within the subsea oil & gas industry with over 8 years experience.

I would like to get into piping design and would like to learn the SP3D platform. I would like to learn the software by self teaching e.g. tutorials and any other material I can get my hands on. Then I will go to an Intergraph training course here in the UK to get certified on the software.

I would like to know if here is any other routes I should take to learn the software and also would employers deem this sort of training to be adequate when seeking employment as a SP3D designer.

Regards,
Colin.
