standard for number of inspections

Dear all,

i want to know that is there any standard to determine number of visits to manufacturer shop? I have to give a number to client. I think 3 is enough but client want an detailed analysis according to standard.

Please help if you know

don't think such a standard is available. it depends on the job being executed and the client tender and QAP requirement
