hi there Tempest More experts,
i was wondering if you could help out, hints or links to manuals are appreciated...
i am looking at Tempest More model data deck of oil reservoir with gascap. Data deck and keywords are similar to Eclipse but there are differences. i want to understand how saturations are calculated and how end-point scaling is done in Tempest More.
Givens & questions:
- relative permeability tables (KRWO & KRGO) with zero capillary pressure (no transition zone). Minimum Swl in the KRWO (=SWOF) table is 0.25 and maximum gas saturation SGU in KRGO (=SGOF) table is 0.65. In Eclipse if no scaling is applied, in the gascap at initial conditions oil saturation of 0.1 will be calculated (Soil = 1 - SGU - SWL= 1 - 0.25 - 0.65 = 0.1). what saturations would Tempest calculate in the gascap?
- Swl is later scaled by providing array with new Swl, Sgu is not adjusted however. SGU could be recalculated accounting for new SWL (SGU = 1 - new Swl). if this line of code is not provided in Tempest data deck would it (tempest) recalculate/adjust SGU appropriately so saturation of 1.0 is observed in gascap cells?
Thanks in advance!
ps. i have seen reference manual of Tempest and there is not enough specific info on this topic and we do not have software to test it.
