PWHT as per ASME B31.3 2014 Edition.

Dear Experts,
As per Asme B31.3 last edition, PWHT is exempt to all thicknesses for P-No.1 base material. The additional limitation imposed by Table 331.1.3 is preheat for base material greater than 25 mm to 95 C (multiple layer welds t>5mm). Is my interpretation is right ???

Your interpretation is right. PWHT is exempted for all thicknesses for P-No.1 as per Table 331.1.3 of ASME B31.3_2014.
