Thread: Minimum design temperature for uninsulated equipment due to solar radiation

  1. Minimum design temperature for uninsulated equipment due to solar radiation

    Dear All,

In my project design basis and criteria, the min. design temp. calculation for aboveground uninsulated equipment & piping is taken as 75degC. How did the contractor came up with 75degC? I mean the basis behind the calculation.

Appreciate your advice on this matter.

    Regards,
    V
