    Initialization methods

    Hi!

I'm a reservoir engineering student writing my master thesis on initialization methods, and was wondering if you, who have some experience, have any pros and cons with the different initialization methods (I'm looking into "initializing with Leverett J-function", "initializing with capillary pressure data", "initializing without transition zones (without cap.pressure data)" and "initializing using the SWATINIT-method") all in Eclipse.

What initialization method do you prefer, and why?

    Thanks

    Re: Initialization methods

The best method from my perspective is using SCAL only data , since you avoid any crossflows between cells, which effects stability of run, since everithing is stabilizes with cappilary forces, and you do not have crossflows of oil between the cells
