can someone please tell me why a nozzle and gate valve have same symbol in p&id, and how can we differentiate them? and also can someone post a guide how to read fabrication iso drawing and p&id complete symbol chart.

Dear brother ,
I could not understand as to why a gate valve and nozzle have the same symbols. Can you please share? Please inform whether you are working in Chemical plant or Power plant.There are different nozzles used at the two plants.
