What ar reservoir production issues Middle East ?

I'm very interesting in production issues in the Middle East (Iran, Iraq) region, for example how facility looks like, how crude is treating before refining, problems with asphaltens, salt water and other production issues ?

I want to describe in my master thesis some production/facility problems regarding to region and I have problem with finding materials.

Do you have any books, case studies, articles etc. - or where can I find it?
