Dear friends,
I am looking for operating experience of gas-liquid flow splitting in a tee. We are considering splitting the flow from a large diameter pipeline to two identical risers of smaller diameter who are subsequently combined at their outlets (on receiving facility). I am concerned for the possibility of flow instabilities and possibly increased pressure drop due to maldistribution in the two risers. I would appreciate any information that you can supply from your field experiences. Any references to public information will be greatly appreciated. Also, I would welcome any information on successful efforts in modeling such splitting with OLGA or other transient models.
