Can anyone suggest me some project topics for an UG level chemical engineering using Aspen Hysys? Guidance is welcome.

If I understand, you need some ideas in order to do an academic proyect using Hysys, right?.

A biodiesel production plant is a very good idea, you have 4 or 5 papers to consult and it is a very interesting subjet.

First of all, you should select a good subject. Biodiesel or solvent extraction and distillation of a Organic acid are good ideas. Production of hydrogen is too an interesting subject. Your subject must have enough information, like papers, articles or books. Try to search in internet some information about biodiesel simulation with hysys or hydrogen production simulation.
I have very much information about biodiesel production simulation.
