I was thinking of putting this video in Reservoir but I think this is a better place.

Depending where you live/work the subject of Shale Gas/Oil is sure to be a hot subject. This presentation nicely explains the often ignored issues with this subject in the main stream media. This will be invaluable information for any new PE engineer should he/she be involved in this segment of the business.

While watching this video I tried another one which attacks the problem of Shale Gas from the other direction, environmental impact. The information presented by the professor (who did research for SLB and the White House) will be useful for a production engineer to know. The well failure/leak data was very interesting.
