  1. fouling in exchanger

    dear friends,
Do you have reference/book regarding fouling in exchanger for petrochemical process?

    mohdeffan,

if you are asking about fouling factor of fluid, then some fouling resistances are provided in TEMA standard

Here is a ref book that can be useful as may be this is only on fouling exclusively by Tout:

The problem seems to be with the redirectioning of the forum.

    Dear ivu,
    Thanks a lot!

  13. Re: fouling in exchanger

    Hi,

TEMA values are the best possible to use at the moment. If the type of fluid is known it would be easier to suggest a fouling factor. Because as of now, we do not know if the product is prone to forming gum or if there is some other constraint. Could you please tell us the fluid service?

    Thanks
