In our facility there is a PSV which releases nitrogen into a ventilated room. When I calculate the oxygen concentration in the room when the PSV is relieving, the levels are not dangerous (assuming instant good mixing of nitrogen and air). But in reality the concentration O2 near the PSV will drop significantly. How do I calculate these levels, or how to determine the distance from the PSV where the concentrations of O2 are too low?
