Pipe washing and Doping.

Hello Friends,

I would like to know a few things about pipe clean and doping systems. As far I have seen in the market, there are only products available to clean and dope the pin automatically.
Is it enough to dope only the pin and leave the box end unattended. Is it the regular drilling practice is to dope only the pin.

I hope some experienced personnel goes through this post and enlighten me with some ideas.

Pavan,
During drilling operation the cleaning and doping of tubular will be manually by hand.
We can clean the thread while the tubular still in the pipe deck. Dope will be apply on the rig floor while about to stab in the pipes.
It is recommended to grease both pin and box. It is good practice to apply dope on the shoulder.
