You should be able to run the process 'define simulation case' even though you don't have Eclipse or FrontSim installed.

To run define simulation case you must have Eclipse installed in your PC. Basically define simulation case is to prepare data file for eclipse which will be run by Eclipse if Eclipse software is installed in your PC. After installing Eclipse software in your PC you have to modify your environmental variable to run Petrel and Eclipse simultaneously. To run for fronSim it is not necessary to load the fortntSim software to be loaded if have FrontSim locked available in your Petrel.
    Thanks

no need to have eclipse for define simulation case ... however you can not use Check and Run button ... you should just export your simulation case into a folder .... if you click on "Export" only than your data deck for eclipse will be prepared you can run them separately to Eclipse if you want later
