I am working on a system design that will operate at around 350 Celsius.
This system is a demonstration of our technology and will need to be transported and installed at various locations around the world. In order to accommodate potential installation environments, we are attempting to design and build it to meet requirements of C1D1 installations.
I have had little luck identifying heat tracing and heating jackets for this kind of environment. Anything I have found does not meet my required operating temperature.
Does anyone know of manufacturers of heating products for these environments? It appears that Mineral Insulated heat tracing is about my only option.
Also, does anyone know whether it is the exposure temperature of the heating element itself, or the surface temperature of any insulation over the heating that is used when considering the maximum surface temperature for the Temperature Code to assign to equipment for the hazardous environment?
Thank you to everyone in advance.
