I need help. Valve type selection.

Dear fellows

I'm searching for a valve for a specific duty. The valve must stop the flow if the pressure rises over the required pressure.

I mean I will set the valve to 5 bar. When it's over 5 bar it will stop. The medium is pressurized air.

By the sounds of it you simply need a pressure regulator valve. Any will do.

However, if overpressure of the downstream system is a process safety issue then the valve will need to be an emergency shutdown valve. These valves are typically actuated quarter-turn ball valves.

I forgot to mention the main point. Thats why the question is not so easy. The tank will work at 7.5 bar. There will be two types of manometer. Firts one will measure up to 2 bar. Second one will measure up to 7.5 bar. The valve that I'm trying to find will be used for protecting the 2 bar manometer. I think a seleoid valve can be used.

This manometers will be used on a hyperbaric chamber.
