Plate-and-frame heat exchanger scenarios failure/relief capacity

Does anyone have some references or ideas about procedure for relief rates calcultaion for a Plate-and-Frame heat exchange; especially pinhole thru plates (the equivalent of tube rupture in shell-and-tube heat exchanger)...

You could use a 10mm hole through plate, but no clear references about it.
