hi guys,
please advise,how to prepare an instrument MTO..

to prepare the MTO you have to prepare some document before ; if the MTO shall contains Cables so you have to prepare the cable list and/or cable routing
also if you will include the bulk material you may prepare the hook up drawings .. and so on.

there are so many items required to MTO in Instrumentation design, what kind of item you need to take-off

According to my knowledge:
- Tubing and bulk materails you need to have hook-up and installation details i.e stanchion, JB supports;
- Cable and glands (same as cable schedule) you need to have cable and cable tray layout/routing, JB layout,
- Field instrumetn you need to have Instrument Index
- I/O modules you need to have I/O List
-JB you need to have JB Layout
