Aldol condensation reactions will takes place & red oil formation will takes places. caustic tower reactions are taking place at higher temperature. however at much higher temperaturespossibility if fouling in trays also exists. ALWAYS MAINTAIN DELTA T of 2 to 5 deg °C across caustic tower.
