Hello everyone,
First, let me thank anyone who takes the time to read and respond to my question. I am about to graduate with a degree in Geology from the University of California. I am perusing a career in petroleum -- this has been a longtime goal. I have been accepted to the MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience program at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. From what I understand, this is a very prestigious program and is highly regarded in the U.K., but I am trying to gauge how it is received in the U.S. and other job markets. I have read that nearly all of students who graduate from that program are hired into petroleum careers very quickly, but I am curious if anyone outside of the U.K. has hired/worked with graduates with that degree.
I appreciate any advice!
Best Regards,
Jay
