    consideration of HIC and SSC

    hi every body
    could any one help me with comprehensive justification for consideration of HIC and SSC test in material selection for sour services?

    mohammadg55, maybe you can see in NACE MR0175 to help you make a material selection in sour service.

    • NACE MR 0175 - 2 Petroleum and natural gas industries — Materials for use in H2S-containing environments in oil and gas production — Part 2:
    -----ing-resistant carbon and low-alloy steels, and the use of cast iron, Annex-B
    • Sulphide Stress -----ing Test - NACE TM 0177
    • Hydrogen Induced -----ing Test – NACE TM 0284
