Hi,

I am quite new to powerplant engineering, i did some work (most of the time thermodynamic calculations, controls, basic process work e.g., some commissioning work and so) but never in depth design as in which design code to use and there impact.
Do not ask me why i want to know all that you can know, i just find it very interesting to try and know all there is to know. Lately i want to learn more from the codes and there impact, for instance Tema versus HEI for example feedwater preheaters / steam surface condensers and so on.

For example i thought there is a difference between HEI and Tema concerning aspect such as corrosion allowance , but which code to use (so the benefits versus downside) i have no clue.

My apologize if this is not an indepth question, just trying to learn more on the way. Can anyone help me in the right direction with the codes?
