As a final year student in mechanical engineer, I would like to ask you experts where does this field stand in the next 40 years?
does geology in petroleum worth it? Will it be a dead end?
and If i was to get into the Oil and Gas, which softwares should i get familiar with? Is PDMS useful? as i know only high profile companies have it. If not any other ones for a graduate to learn?
any subjects which I need special understanding about?
I would like to be prepared before getting into this field.
