since h2s is both toxic and flammable, i usually address h2s limit (to human) dispersion extent, h2s flammable limit dispersion extent, and consequence if h2s is ignited. just do it like another vessel leak. insert material (h2s), and get the dispersion extent of h2s limit as well as flame radiation extent.
criteria for h2s limit and heat radiation (impact to human) refer to OGP Report No. 434-14.1 Vulnerability of Human (google it, it's free)

Hi Pips,
I need mathematical models to model butane and some other natural gas dispersion in an offshore environment.
Other mathematical models for gas atmospheric modelling will also be appreciated.
You need the book titled:"Guidelines for Chemical Process Quantitative Risk Analysis (2nd Edition)". The book comes with several examples, including the Excel spreadsheets. The spreadsheet list includes thermal and gas dispersion models. Gas dispersion models includes Puff model (<3 minutes duration, ie plant ESD) and Plume Model for continuous vent or chimney. I have all these and willing to share.
Please advise clearly how to transfer 40 MB of files to where you need them.
