Hi frnz,
i am a fresher in oil and gas field ,much closely related to pressure vessel dept.i need to calculate skirt thickness of a vessel.since it is a non pressure part,pv elite doesnt calculate it.so,plz do help me

As I remenber from some years ago, you can specify a skirt thickness and PVelite really does the verification.
To select a suitable skirt thickness to verify, you can use - as a guide - the book Pressure Vessel Hanbook.
